OneDi Smart Bus & Kochi E-Bus, an initiative of 7
private bus operating companies in
Kochi is jointly organising a 12 day long ONAM celebrations named “ONAVANDI” from
02/09/2019 till 13/09/2019 to promote friendly public transport among the public.
Many private buses will do their service as ONAVANDI during the event dates.
Onavandi is supported by KMRL, Axis Bank, RedFM 93.5, KMVD and many other
stakeholders of transport industry.
The programmes are as follows: -
Lucky draw of bus tickets will be conducted and 100 passengers shall be
awarded prizes.
Conductors/Drivers with good track records (selected by an expert committee)
shall be awarded “Service Excellence Awards” as a recognition to their
outstanding service to this industry.
Donation Boxes shall be kept in selected ONAVANDI buses and promote
#bakivenda challenge among commuters wherein the commuters can contribute
their
ticket’s balance change for the cause to help the victims of the recent
natural
calamity faced by our state.
ONAVANDI Photography contest for the public shall also be conducted during
the course of the event and winners will be awarded with cash prizes &
certificates.
Free medical camps will be conducted for the bus crew members.
